It’s said you have to invite a vampire in, for them to do any damage.

It’s also said a hallmark of a vampire’s visit is a consistent and residual longing for the vampire.

Makes a weird kind of sense to me. You don’t share something as intimate as blood without repercussions. You can think about that both literally and metaphorically.

I know a few vampires. I guess I long for them, too. (metaphorically. Blood’s dangerous, kiddos…)

So take that with a grain of, um, garlic. 

I wrote a lot the other night. I also could barely move by the end of it.

I dislike art made on drugs for a few reasons, which may sound hypocritical, but it’s true. I feel like art, in any context, is the most direct and most easily shared  expression of the common human condition, and things that take you out of the human condition make it difficult for people to relate to.
